Broken laptop screen?
Standard laptop screen replacement: £75
£75 including parts and fitting. We can often replace your screen the same day when the screen is in stock. Other screen types are quoted before work begins.

Can you make an older computer faster?
Often, yes. An SSD or RAM upgrade can help, depending on the machine. We’ll assess compatibility and whether the improvement is worth the cost.
Do I need to know what’s wrong before visiting?
No. Describe what you’re seeing and we’ll take it from there. A photo of an error message can be useful.

Do you charge for diagnosis?
Our policy is simple: if we don’t fix it, there’s no charge. Very occasionally, diagnosis requires ordering a specialist part specifically for your laptop. We’ll explain any charge and agree it with you before ordering.
How long will my repair take?
We aim to complete most repairs within one working day when parts are in stock. If we need to order parts, we aim to complete the repair within one working day of their arrival.
What guarantee comes with a repair?
Warranty cover depends on the repair. Before proceeding, we’ll discuss the proposed work, whether we think it is worthwhile, and any guarantee. For example, another faulty component could damage a replacement motherboard. We’ll explain any such risk before you decide.
What should I bring?
Bring your laptop and charger so we can test both. We have hundreds of chargers, so you usually won’t need to leave yours. For a desktop PC or all-in-one, bring the main unit—we should have everything else needed for testing.
Will my files be kept?
We make every effort to preserve your files and recover data from faulty drives. Where possible, we can clone your existing system to a replacement drive or computer, helping retain your files, settings and saved passwords. Recovery and transfer aren’t always possible, so back up important files beforehand if you can. We can also help with forgotten passwords, depending on the device and account.
